About Luis Castillo
I help Austin and Central Texas business owners understand what they pay to accept cards and choose the right payment technology. And I tell them plainly when they should leave things alone.
Owner-led service
I am the owner of Luis Your Money Man, an Independent Sales Organization (ISO). I help business owners compare payment options and remain their direct point of contact.
I start with how customers pay and what the team needs, then recommend the right hardware, software, and processing methods. I do that in English or in Spanish, whichever is easier for you.
What advocate means
I translate rates, fees, and options into straightforward language.
I recommend equipment, software, and processing for your operation.
I remain your direct point of contact after the decision.
I served in the U.S. Marine Corps, where a good part of my job was training other people. That is most of what I do now. A business owner does not need a lecture on interchange categories, they need the one thing on their statement that is costing them money explained clearly enough to act on.
Often not through a search at all. Jaime runs JP Mobile Detailing out of Pflugerville, and we met because I booked a detail with him. We got talking about his business, and when it came out that he took payments through a flat-rate app, I broke down what his fees were actually doing.
He was not looking to change anything and told me so. He tried it anyway, and in his own words he noticed the difference right away. He sends people my way now. His full story, and his video, are on the case studies page.
As an Independent Sales Organization, I offer a wide range of point-of-sale software and hardware, so the recommendation starts with how you operate, not with one product I need to place. Putting a business on a system that does not suit it is how you lose a client, not how you keep one.
Every price I put together is built around the individual business, which is why there is no price list on this site. Card mix, average ticket, monthly volume, and how your customers actually pay all move the number. If you want to know how an ISO like mine is paid, I wrote that down too: how Luis gets paid.
I work with business owners in English and in Spanish. If Spanish is easier for you, say so when you call or text, or read this page en español.
Usually a business that is already growing. If you are processing real volume and the cost of taking payments has become a number worth managing, there is something to work with. If you are just opening your doors you are still welcome to a fee check, but I will be straight with you about how much is on the table.
